「私たちの子供は学校に行けていない。どうか、この現状を変える手助けをしてくれないか。」

これは、Uzuriの創業者がケニアの農村地の女性からもらった言葉です。
雇用機会不足から始まる貧困が、この問題の原因でした。スワヒリ語で、「Goodness」や「Beauty」を意味するUzuri。私たちは、アフリカの「美しい」商品を世界へと広げていくことで、この問題の解決に取り組みます。
近年、アフリカの途上国でも。商品はもちろん、その生産背景も「美しい」ブランドが数多く新興してきています。日本をはじめとした先進国で、そうしたMade in Africaの製品の消費を創り、現地では生産のための雇用を創ります。

また、私たちは、アフリカのブランドと革新的なコラボ商品を開発します。アフリカブランドの良さを引き出しつつ、日本の皆さんの生活に溶け込むような商品をお届けします。みなさんの日常にアフリカの製品が自然に溶け込み、意図せずとも現地経済を支えることができる。

そんな未来を目指しています。

Uzuri is a select collaborative lifestyle brand specializing in Africa, dedicated to bringing the attractive lifestyle brands of Africa to everyone in Japan.

"Our children cannot go to school. Could you please help us change this situation?"

These words were given to the founder of Uzuri by a woman from a rural village in Kenya. Poverty, stemming from a lack of employment opportunities, was the cause of this issue. Uzuri, meaning 'Goodness' or 'Beauty' in Swahili, is committed to resolving this issue by spreading Africa's beautiful products around the world. In recent years, numerous brands from developing countries in Africa have emerged, celebrated not only for their products but also for their beautiful production backgrounds. We aim to create consumption of 'Made in Africa' products in developed countries, including Japan, and generate employment opportunities locally.

Furthermore, we develop innovative collaborative products with African brands. By enhancing the appeal of African brands and integrating them into the daily lives of people in Japan, these products naturally become part of everyday life and inadvertently support the local economy.

We aspire to a future where African products seamlessly integrate into everyday life, supporting the local economy unintentionally.

Uzuri serves as a bridge connecting Africa and Japan.
