The colorful and artistic designs are created by local artists and handcrafted by artisans one by one. The vibrant designs use the original colors of the flip-flops, with no dyeing involved.
Each item is a unique piece, with no two designs being exactly alike.
The flip-flops are collected from the Kenyan coast and thoroughly cleaned with detergent after collection. They are cleaned again with detergent after processing. The sides and interior use recycled cork for a gentle texture.
